Who’s up for a field trip?

We had the opportunity to head over to Melbourne to Check out the Parker Brothers Concepts shop, featured of Sy-Fy’s Dream Machines! We had a great time, took a full tour, and got to sit in John Cena & 50 Cent’s cars!

We went to discuss a possible business opportunity, but came out with awesome new friends. Check out the pics below and be sure to take a look at the operational Tron bike vid!

Post Apocalyptic Pin- Up Raffle Winner!

First off, thank you so much to all who joined in the raffle for the piece, your support and encouragement allow us to do things like this. Because of the overwhelming support from all of you, we are trying to implement another raffle for next year with 3 levels of prizes (3 pieces of original work, in varying sizes!).

The drawing went down on August 5th, the final day of AFO with a far larger turnout than we ever expected. We had a good time, gave away some free art, and drew our winner. So, without further ado:

HEY ALL! First we would like to thank you all for your support @ Megacon! You guys made this years our most successful con to date. We got to meet a bunch of new fans and see a lot of old friends. We as a studio really appreciate the love and faithfulness you guys show us. So down to the nitty gritty, we don’t have any cons this month… which means COMMISSIONS. We know, we are way behind, but we have not forgotten about any of you. I will be sending out emails for our new project management system so commission holders can log in and see where we are with their art work. If you don’t get an email by, Monday, March 12th and do not receive your art by Saturday, March 17th, please email us HERE to make sure we still have you on the list. Oh and be sure to check your spam boxes, mail servers like to send us there! We really appreciate your patience and promise to make it worth the wait. The page here is rapidly changing and a lot of our work will arrive on the upcoming gallery page before making its way to our DA. So check often, and if you aren’t on our twitter feed, GET ON IT. Mongoose Coding

All finished with the animation work for Mongoose Coding. It came out great and I can’t wait to see what they do with it. It felt good to get back behind the 3-hole punch (figuratively) and working with such receptive and creative individuals with clear goals and open minds made the job a blast. Nothing like a good old character based animation fix. So if you need a few custom macros built, hop on over and see Lee and the guys, tell ‘em GenkiGoth sent you.

Trying to find a balance between the massive influx of commissions, side projects (2 comics, a CD cover and an animation), and creating new prints and originals has been rough to say the least.
